Monkey Mountain, Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach

• Choose your preferred transport: We have air-conditioned cars, exciting vintage Jeeps or easy rider motorbikes for the adventurous. You can choose one vehicle type or more than one to please everyone in your group.

• Safety First: Comfort and safety is our number one concern. We know that our roads are busy and may seem a bit chaotic for most visitors. Our drivers are trained to drive safely and use interesting scenic roads not just the fastest way to get there.

• What the tour price includes: Our price includes: Lunch, coffee stops, cold water and soft drinks, and entrance fees. There are no surprises with extra costs. What's not included: only your alcoholic drinks.

• Local food and coffee stops: Our mission is to give you a fantastic and memorable experience. We choose all our food and coffee stops carefully with quality local food, great Vietnamese coffee, hygiene, bathrooms and your enjoyment in mind.

• 8.00am: Pickup at your Hotel

  We will meet you in the lobby of your hotel. Dont forget the sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and walking shoes.

• 9.00am: We arrive at Monkey Mountain.

  We travel along the beach road passed the beautiful My Khe beach to start our assent of Monkey mountain. Our first stop is Linh Ung Pagoda (Lady Buddha). This is a magnificent pagoda with a statue of Linh Ung rising 67 mt above the courtyard. You can spend some time here, you may even see some monkeys in the courtyard. When we leave the pagoda we continue up the mountain stopping for photos and to enjoy amazing views of Da Nang city all the way to Hoi An. We will try to find some more monkeys but sometimes they are hard to find. We will have a coffee stop on the way up the mountain. At approx. 11.45 we will head for our lunch stop.

• 12.15pm: Lunch stop and yummy Quang Noodles.

  We stop in Da Nang for delicious famous Quang Noodles. We have chosen a local noodle restaurant that make amazing noodles, a taste sensation.

• 1.45pm: Up the historic Hai Van Pass.

  After lunch we travel up the pass stopping at photo taking vantage points to admire the view. We will stop at the Hai Van Gate. The 21-km-long Hai Van Pass rises up to 1,600 feet high in places and is known as one of the best coastal roads in the world. The name, Hai Van is Vietnamese for Ocean Cloud, a reference to the great mists which rise from the sea. The pass was once the natural boundary between Vietnam and the kingdom of Champa. At the top there is a number of lookout points with wonderful views to the mountains and sea beyond. When the Hai Van tunnel, was built in 2005, it cut travel times through the mountains by more than an hour but also turned the Hai Van Pass road into a beautifully quiet scenic route.

• 2.30pm: Time for a swim at Lang Co Beach.

  When you see this beach you will want to swim at Lang Co Beach. So don’t forget your swimmers, or maybe just a beach walk. Enjoy your exclusive beach platform with deck chairs right on the pristine beach. If you do not want to swim or walk on the beach we can take a short drive around the very beautiful lagoon. Enjoy complimentary beer, soft drink, a cold coconut or coffee. At about 3.30pm we will head back to your hotel

• 5.00pm: Arrive at your hotel

  After a great day out it is always sad to say goodbye but we hope you will have had a wonderful day with lots of great photos and memories. We also hope you will agree with us that central Vietnam is both beautiful and steeped in history.
