At the top there is a number of lookout points with wonderful views to the mountains and sea beyond. When the Hai Van tunnel, was built in 2005, it cut travel times through the mountains by more than an hour but also turned the Hai Van Pass into a beautifully quiet scenic route. Our stop for coffee looking out to sea is both memorable and relaxing, you will be very happy with this photo stop. At about 12.00pm we travel down the pass to the lagoon for lunch.
