Visiting My Son Sanctuary is an essential cultural experience. Our tour combines both the culture of My Son Sanctuary with the beauty of Vietnam countryside and authentic village life.

• What you will see and do? Famous My Son Sanctuary, Visit 3 local villages – Coconut village, fishing village and the rice paper village. ride a basket boat, Visit a beautiful waterfall swim and relax. Great mountain top scenic views.

• 8:00am: Pickup At Your Hotel

  We will meet you at your hotel to begin our day.

• 8:30am: Arrive at the popular Coconut Village

  Our first stop is Cam Thanh, the famous Coconut village and river basket boat experience. Take a leisurely stroll through the village observing local life and crafts. Take a short walk to the river and the basket boats, you can just look at the fun or take a ride on the river with an expert paddler. You can even try your luck at catching a fish or crab.

• 9:15am: Visit To The Fishing Village

  We leave the basket boats and head to the fishing village over the Cua Dai bridge to see the local fleet of fishing boats and the ladies selling the days catch

• 9:45am: Continue our tour through the rice paddies

  On we go, taking a leisurely drive observing rural life, rice paddies, vegetable garden and local villages. We have time to browse at a local market.

• 11:00am: Visit Mountain Waterfall and Local Pagoda

  Arrive at a hidden mountain waterfall where you can take a refreshing dip into crystal clear mountain water. Relax or take a short walk to the mountain top where you can visit the local Pagoda and enjoy peaceful views of the lake and countryside.

• 12:00pm: Have fun making Rice Paper

  After the waterfall we head toward My Son but first we have some time to explore a local village skilled in rice paper, crackers and noodles. You are welcome to watch and then try your hand in making rice paper.

• 1:00pm: Visit My Son Sanctuary

  A short drive from the rice paper village we arrive at My Son Sanctuary, we will start our time here with a delicious lunch of local noodle dishes. After lunch you can spend as much time as you like exploring My Son,. Most visitors take about an hour or so to wander through, we provide a complimentary experienced sanctuary guide to explain the cultural significance of many of the ruins. The name My Son means “beautiful mountain” and the Hindu ruins are dated to between the 4th and 13th centuries, these ancient towers and temples sit upon emerald hills in the Duy Xuyen District of Quang Nam in central Vietnam. This is a UNESCO World Heritage site and you are free to explore the 71 structures in 8 groupings making up the sanctuary. This is a wonderful example of Vietnam’s rich indigenous culture.

• 3:00pm: Time to head back to your hotel

  When you are ready we can start to head back to your hotel. We will return via different rural roads where you can once again enjoy beautiful scenic views of the Vietnamese countryside. We always travel at a leisurely speed so you don’t miss anything and naturally we can stop wherever you wish to capture those memorable photos.

• 4:30pm: Hotel Arrival
